This is a special offer for landscape connoisseurs and photographers. Best time: September, October. Recommended areas: Biebrza National Park, Knyszyn Landscape Forest and Bialowieza Primaeval Forest. You will have the opportunity to admire famous Polish golden autumn, which is usually dry, warm and as colourful as the fall can be. Whilst walking we might see all big mammals of primaeval European forest, including bisons, and watch them without disturbing the animals. Migrating birds are numerous and easy to watch. We attach importance to forest mushrooms and we learn how to recognize the species. During the rut of deer, the forest is imbued with the scent of musk. This scent accompanies me since my first rut, in which I had the chance to indulge many years ago in Bialowieza Forest.

Hint: Autumn excursions do not require any specialist footwear, all the trails are easily accessible.
